Milking Stool Workshop: 29 March 2025 (1 day) $385

The classic Milking Stool is a perfect introduction to woodworking and chair joinery.

You will experience an introduction to turning on the lathe, turning the legs, drilling and reaming the compound angled seat mortises, shaping of the seat and finally joining the stool together with traditional hide glue and wedges.

This one day workshop takes participants through the basics and you take home a beautifully crafted stool. 

All materials are included and all the tools required are supplied.

Coffee and tea is available all day, morning tea is provided; BYO lunch. 

Class begins at 9.00am in our Tylden Workshop. 

Tylden is near Woodend and Kyneton in Victoria's Macedon Ranges.

Positions are strictly limited to six (4) people on this workshop. Due to course preparation and wait lists, if a position is cancelled less than four (4) weeks prior to the start date, we are sorry, but 50% of your deposit payment is not refundable. You may transfer or pass on this course booking (for this date only) to another person if you are unable to attend. If the course is unable to run and is cancelled by us, or you are unable to make it due to border lockdowns, 100% of your funds are refundable.
